This client's exterior already had a wonderful foundation but the landscape needed a refresh. We replaced the tired boxwood and enhanced the front entry with a layering of fresh, flowering plants. Pinwheel Jasmine blooms year round with white flowers and is the main foundation planting. Fashion Azaleas are in front of them for a bold color pop. Mondo grass defines the bed lines for a soft textural transition. The existing ground cover was stones and sod that was not performing well. The client's wanted a very low maintenance space so they opted for artificial turf. Two Gardenia topiaries in modern cube planters frame the gorgeous doorway. The final touch is a modern fountain that provides a tranquil experience.
The backyard didn't need much of an update. We enhanced a blank wall by the pool with Gary's signature wire trellises for Bougainvillea to grow on and provide a gorgeous color. They are planted in modern narrow planters to still allow for flow around the pool. The existing pool needed a backdrop so we proposed and installed a decorative screening panel that now is home to a wall mounted fountain and planters to provide some softness to the screen as well as bursts of color.
A tranquil fountain is nestled among the new landscape providing a soft water sound as you enter the property and approach the front door. Two Gardenia topiaries in planters anchor the front for structure and wonderful fragrance. A layered planting scheme of Pinwheel Jasmine, Azaleas, and Mondo grass gives this front facade a beautiful formal update to replace a single row of tired boxwood.
The backyard had a great foundation but it needed an element to make it "pop". We proposed and added a beautiful decorative screen with a fountain and wall planters as a focal point behind the existing pool.
This side yard had existing mature Crape Myrtles and we added some crushed shells at the bases. A foundation planting of Pinwheel Jasmine will provide beautiful white blooms year round. Artificial turf was added for a very low maintenance front yard.
Gary's signature wire trellis was added to a blank white wall next to the existing pool. Beautiful Bougainvillea was added for a bold pop of color in narrow modern planters.
